Through God’s love we learn together, grow together and achieve together.

Dear Parents/Carers,

Thank you for all your feedback and for supporting the children to do and share their home learning on Teams.

If the children can’t use the Class Notebook for the day to see the activities set or to do their work in there, then they can access the home learning from our school website/class email and do the work in books/on a piece of paper. Pictures of this can be emailed to the class teacher later on the day. Alternatively, they can work in a Word document/ Power Point / Sway, then upload it on Teams, in Files. Before doing so, they need to create a folder with their name in Files. If not sure about how to do so, they can let me know via Teams chat and I can do that for them.

As for Active Learn, please remember to allow pop-ups so you can use the page accordingly and clear the browser history to avoid glitches. If there are any problems with accessing the work on this website, please do let me know.

These are the highlights of today’s lessons:

Note: * = if you have trouble downloading the Sway, please access the Oak/BBC/White Rose lesson while waiting.

Today there will be a live lesson celebrating World Book Day which you can take part in via the BBC on at 11:30 am. It is a 30-minute Live Lesson, hosted by CBBC's Ben Shires and Bitesize Daily's Mr Smith and can also be accessed via the CBBC channel. Please remember that children can dress up today as their favourite book character and you can send a picture to the teacher if they wish to do so!

Today you will also receive a digital £1 book voucher which you can spend on any of the World Book Day £1 books.

More information about World Book Day and our celebrations can be found here.

Gentle reminder: our P.E day is a Tuesday. Children will be expected to come in full school P.E kit this day. Every other day will be normal school uniform. Please can you remind the children they are responsible for bringing in their water bottles and any reading books they may have taken home.

Lastly, I cannot wait to see them!

Kind regards,

Miss Gifford
