Through God’s love we learn together, grow together and achieve together.

Dear Parents/Carers,

Thank you for all your feedback and for supporting the children to do and share their home learning on Teams. If for some reasons the work can’t be uploaded/done in there, please send me an email reporting the issue and attaching some of the children’s work as well.

These are the highlights of today’s lessons:

Write the rest of The Highwayman (Free Write) *

Session 89: Revise metric units of weight, capacity and length.

Guided Reading

Session 4 - Summarise

Eucharistic Prayer II (LF5)

Be Kind To Yourself

Other Suggested Activities / Links

Note: * = if you have trouble downloading the Sway, please access the Oak/BBC/White Rose lesson while waiting.

In addition to these, please ask your child to practise daily the spellings, timetables and to keep reading the books they like.

The Brentwood Catholic Youth Service have prepared a virtual assembly for you here to understand the first week of LENT. There is a chance to make a beautiful origami dove. All you need is a piece of paper and some coloured pens…..good luck.

Bug Club won’t be in use for a while, so there won’t be any book allocations for the moment. If there will be any updates regarding this, I will let you know as soon as possible.

Here are some suggested activities that you might enjoy doing with your children to celebrate Kindness Week:

  • Hide little messages around the house for others to find.
  • Practice self-kindness by doing something you enjoy. Record this in any format you wish (diary entry, picture, drawing, story board, comic strip, etc).

I am looking forward to receiving any work children would like to share about this topic.

Kind regards,

Miss Gifford
