Through God’s love we learn together, grow together and achieve together.

Dear Parents,

It's Friday and well done for getting through the first week of this round of remote learning.

I would really appreciate any feedback letting me know which things are working better than others, so when you return work, if you want to leave a comment, it will really help.

Here are today's sessions.

I can have a respectful balanced argument using conjunctions.

In today’s English lesson, the children will be sorting conjunctions into groups, and they will be challenged to give counter arguments to arguments they would likely agree with.

I can find non-unit fractions of 2 and 3-digit numbers.

In today’s Maths lesson, the children will recap how to find non-unit fractions and then apply these skills to solve some fraction problems.

I am learning about how it feels to have my own hopes and dreams.

In this week’s PSHE lesson, the children will explore what their dreams and goals are and how these make them feel. They will be encouraged to think about how they can achieve these goals by having resilience and a positive attitude

Guided Reading

In today's session, children will need to think about the chapter of the The Great Elephant Chase.  The children should then look at the picture of the Elephant raising the girl that is on the Sway.  They must then write a diary entry from another character who is in the picture.  Remember some of the rules we have to follow when we write a diary.
