Through God’s love we learn together, grow together and achieve together.

We had a lovely (and busy!) first week back.  On Monday we had a special mass for All Saints Day.  This helped us to remember many of the wonderful Saints who have inspired us.

In English, we have been writing war poetry.  We read poems by Wilfred Owen and used these to create our own descriptive poetry.

In Mathematics, we have been using negative numbers.  We also learnt about converting improper fractions to mixed numbers, and we were adding fractions.  It was tricky, but by the end of the week we had all achieved what we were hoping for!

We have been extremely busy rehearsing our class assembly which we can't wait to perform to parents and the rest of the school on Friday 12th November.
