It was great to be back in school this week.

We had an amazing time at our Residential trip to Bawdsey Manor last week.  Such exciting activities, excellent accommodation and superb food!

This week in English, we have been back to continuing reading War Horse by Michael Morpurgo.  Joey is now in the care of the German army... We continued focusing on Narrative writing, learning how to integrate dialogue into stories.  

In maths, we spent the week consolidating our subtraction skills (including decimal numbers).  It got trickier towards the end of the week when we were solving word problems.  Next week, we move on to short and long multiplication.

In RE, we celebrated Judaism week.  We had a fabulous week learning about Rosh Hashannah (Jewish New Year) and Yom Kippur.  We also learnt what happens during Mitzvah Day!
