Well, what another fun-packed week we have had!

We had a marvellous visit from Mike Mullen, who is a BMX champion.  He showed us his phenomenal tricks, and we even got to ride on a broke ourselves!  (check out pictures in our picture gallery!)

In English, we have continued reading the story War Horse by Michael Morpurgo.  War has just been announced, and Joey has been sold to the army and will be used as a war horse.  We can't wait to find out what happens next!

In maths, we have been strengthening our addition skills, including addition of decimal numbers.  Next week, we look forward to the introduction of algebra!

In RE, we have been learning about unconditional love.  We discussed the parable of the Prodigal Son, and thought about how this story demonstrates the Father's unconditional love for his son.

In Topic, we had a chance to find out about the events which led to the outbreak of WW1.  We also researched the countries that were involved in the war (allies and central powers).

We look forward to yet another busy week next week!
