Week 6 (7-11/12/20)

This week we have been focussing on descriptive writing. We looked closely at the festive character; the Grinch, and have been busy writing our own descriptions of his appearance and personality. We have also moved on to looking at Whoville (the town where the Grinch lives) and writing descriptions of this too. We have been challenging ourselves to use more exciting adjectives and similes as well as using alliteration and onomatopoeia.

This week we also had our Christmas jumper day where we had a scrumptious Christmas dinner too! We had the best day listening to festive music, taking part in some Christmas orienteering and we also enjoyed a fantastic Christmas craft afternoon!
