This week we have been working really hard writing our versions of the traditional tale 'Jack and the beanstalk'. We gave this well-known fairy tale a twist, swapping the setting and the giant's character for something from the Stone Age instead! We have had lots of fun creating these stories.
We have been enjoying the latest chapter of our guided reading book; 'The Chirstmasaurus' where William met the Christmasaurus for the first time. The Christmasaurus was trying to chase Santa's sleigh and got himself (and William!) into a bit of a sticky situation, then the dinosaur attempted to fly!We can't wait to read the next chapter together next week.
This week has been Anti-bullying Week. We have talked a lot about what bullying is and who we can talk to and what we can do if we are worried about it. We also spoke about how we can be good friends to each other and what a trusted adult is. On Wednesday, we took part in an NSPCC assembly which explained all about bullying and abuse and what we can do if we are worried about it. It also spoke about Childline.
Be sure to check out our anti-bullying poster on the celebration gallery on Year 3's home page.
