Through God’s love we learn together, grow together and achieve together.

Welcome back!

Although this has been a short week, with just 3 days at school; we have already got stuck straight into lots of learning!

In English, we have begun reading our Hook with a Book - I survived the eruption of Mount St. Helen's.  It is a fictional book, based on a true event (the volcanic eruption which occurred in 1980).  We look forward to finding out what happens in this story!

In mathematics, we have been revising place value of large numbers, including decimal and negative numbers.

Our new topic is 'Changing States' - and this week we thought about our Caritas theme which is 'We face challenges together'.  We each made a pledge to do something within our community to help with a local issue (i.e. litter, traffic, pollution etc).
