Mini-Vinnies have decided this term that they would like to find out more about our local charity shop. They wrote a letter to the manager and arranged a visit. On Monday 21st March they visited the shop and spoke with Kat- Fundraising Manager, Amy the store manager and Pauline the Catholic Advocate. They found about some fabulous facts but more importantly ways we can link up and support them in some way. See our letter here and our visit photo.
Dear St Elizabeth’s
We have heard so much about you. We have learned that you help many people in different ways. You support children all the way until they are eighteen and make such a difference to their lives. We believe your charity is unique and would like to help you more.
We have been thinking about how we can help to support your work in your local shop.
We would like to make our community more aware of what you do and how we can increase your donations.
If possible we would like to visit the shop to see what you do and ask some questions about the kind of donations that you need.
We look forward to hearing from you soon so that we can arrange a visit to do this.

Mini-Vinnies successfully visited St Elizabeth's shop and asked lots and lots of questions. They were then able to share what they found with the rest of the school.
Following this they began their Spring Clean Campaign which resulted in a large collection of donations being taken to the shop on the 23rd May. Great work Mini-Vinnies. They look very pleased.
