WALLACE AND GROMIT
This half term we will be finding out about the mischief and mayhem that Wallace and his best friend Gromit get up to. We will be focussing in on the techniques used to develop and create the films and animation history. We will be looking at how computer animation works and the coding behind them. The children will be looking at how to develop there own games using Purple Mash and controlling objects on a computer screen.
Our guided reading will look at the adventures of George and his secret key to the universe. This book is written by Stephen Hawking and his daughter Lucy and looks at the different aspects of Space and the universe.
To support your childs learning this half term I have provided the Wallace and Gromit homelearning map. The expectation is to have 3 pieces of home learning collected by the final Wednesday of half term. I have also attached a copy of these activities at the bottom of the page. This is in addition to weekly abacus (which is on active learn) and spellings (focus of 10 words per week) homelearning.
