Dear Parents/Carers,
Thank you for all your support and for all your feedback for the past four weeks of remote learning. We were very happy to see all the positivity, resilience and enjoyment children showed in doing their home learning.

Note: * = if you have trouble downloading the Sway, please access the Oak/BBC lesson while waiting.
In addition to these, please ask your child to practise daily the spellings, timetables and to keep reading the books they like.
You are invited as well to join a Gospel assembly on Mondays, you can find this and other assemblies on the secure area of the website. There are instructions on how to join a Teams meet without creating an account on the Parent Secure Area of our website.
Please remember that we have a selection of Assemblies you might join throughout the week:
- Gospel Assembly - every Monday, on Parents Secure Area (school website);
- Story time - daily - on Parents Secure Area (school website).
As we are offering now small group sessions on Teams for the children, please check the link for this in a separate email sent to you on the day of the session. I will be sending you a follow up email with your child’s time. If they can’t access a session, then I will arrange another time for that.
Do note that if you join a Teams meet it may be possible for other users to see your email address. The other users will be other families in the class/school and staff. By connecting to the call in this way you are consenting to others on the meet seeing your email address. You can leave the call at any time.
Also, this week we will be supporting and celebrating Children’s Mental Health Week. This year’s theme is Express Yourself. Place2Be has created activity ideas and resources to help children and adults to explore the different ways that they can share thoughts, feelings and ideas.
I have attached a Tip Tops document about how you can support children to “Express Themselves Creatively.” In addition to this, an Assembly Sway will be posted on our webpage under latest updates.
Remember that children can earn House points for taking part in the RSPB Big Birdwatch by entering your bird counts on our Big Birdwatch Form (please see the Invite sent with the last Wednesday’s email for the link).
Kind regards,
Miss Gifford
