Through God’s love we learn together, grow together and achieve together.

Dear Parents/Carers,

Thank you for supporting the children accessing Teams for our Sessions and for doing their work in our Class Notebook. It is lovely to see the commitment, resilience and positivity they put in working on the activities we set.

Today I will be sending the link to the class assembly out. Please remember to join microphones muted and cameras off. The assembly will be accessible to join from 11am and will start at 11.15am.

These are the highlights of today’s lessons:

Develop reading for pleasure through book recommendations *

Session 90: Understand that we can measure in imperial units and relate these to their instances in daily life.

Guided Reading

Session 5 - Comprehension

Healthy lifestyles (1)

Walk together as people of peace

Other Suggested Activities / Links

Note: * = if you have trouble downloading the Sway, please access the Oak/BBC/White Rose lesson while waiting.

In addition to these, please ask your child to practise daily the spellings, timetables and to keep reading the books they like.

Here are some suggested activities that you might enjoy doing with your children to celebrate Kindness Week:

  • Remember to empty the Kindness Jar and share all the wonderful messages you put in there.
  • Create a souvenir of this week. You can include a message about the kindness you showed to your family and the kindness you were shown this week. Use any materials you might have in the house and be as creative as you wish!

I am looking forward to receiving any work children would like to share about this topic.

If there are any problems with the log in details for Teams or you need support with the activities, please do let me know by sending an email via our communication address

Kind regards,

Miss Gifford
