Through God’s love we learn together, grow together and achieve together.

This week has been a busy week in Year 6 (as usual!).

In RE, we have started learning about our new Advent topic, discussing how Advent is a time of Expectations.

In maths, we have been learning how to multiply and divide fractions, converting improper fractions to mused numbers.  Some of us have found it challenging, but we are proud of how we have persevered and challenged ourselves.

Furthermore, in English we have been focusing on using dialogue in narrative writing.  We had fun trying to convey various dialects through dialogue.

Also, we had another great Topic lesson where we learnt about Alan Turing and how his Enigma machine was crucial for the allies.  He was an extremely clever man who managed to break the Enigma Code during WW2, which many believed helped win the war.
