30/09/22 (Week 4)
What a fun filled Week 4!
This week has been jam packed with fun! On Tuesday, we looked at how the Anglos Saxons built their villages as a community, then we designed and drew our very own villages! We then explored how they gathered their food. We decided to create our own Anglo Saxon food to get some first-hand experience of what it might have been like for them! We made our very own spiced honey and apricot oatcakes as well as some honey shortbread. They were delicious and very sticky!
We have been working hard in topic this week and have created sways on the laptops explaining the different parts of the digestive system.
In music, we are learning how to play Mamma Mia on Glockenspiels, which is very fun and the children are doing amazingly!
Vocabulary we have learnt this week:
Eliminate, mere, dominate, mournful, belched, cud, lame and ewe
