Through God’s love we learn together, grow together and achieve together.

We were back in school this week after an amazing 5 days at our residential trip last week.  Although we were exhausted after such a busy week, it was good to be back in the classroom for learning time!

In mathematics, we have been working SUPER hard on algebra and BODMAS.  It's been challenging, but we thrive on being challenged!

In English this week, we have started a new unit of writing - Narrative. We wrote some fantastic descriptions about what it would be like to love in the trenches during WW1.  We have also been continuing to read 'War Horse' which we are really enjoying.

We have completed lots of RE this week, learning about the story of the Prodigal Son and how this parable represents unconditional love.

In Topic, we learnt about the Battle of the Somme, which was one of the deadliest battles during WW1.  We wrote a non-chronological report about all that we learnt.

PE saw us enjoying developing our football skills, and in French we were learning vocabulary linked to giving directions (left, right, down there, up there etc).  We really enjoyed our music lesson, where we got the chance to sing 'Happy' by Pharrell Williams!

As you can see we have had an extremely busy week!!
