This half term Year Three have been learning about dragons! We have been reading the book 'How to Train Your Dragon' by Cressida Cowell. We have been studying the legends of some of the most famous dragons; George and the Dragon and the Welsh Dragon. Year Three have also looked at Chinese dragons and how they are used for celebrations. We made our own salt dough dragons and decorated these in bright colours. We also made our own dragon eyes from clay. We sculpted our dragon eyes using intricate patterns adn then we let these dry. Afterwards, we carefully painted our eyes before sticking in the iris and pupil. Have a look at some of the finished results on the tab to the right.
