13. W/B 4th DEC 2023

In class this week we have been busy practising for our KS2 Carol Service.  We are looking forward to performing it on Monday 11th December!

In English, we have continued our learning about writing Narrative.  This week, we focused on identifying fronted adverbials and developing our character descriptions.  Next week we will be putting all of our writing skills together to create a story of our own, based on WW2 (in the style of Goodnight Mr Tom).

In maths, we were very excited to learn long division!  Although it was tricky, we persevered and we know that with continued practise, we will all become experts!!  We also learnt about factors, multiples and prime numbers,  

We were VERY happy to read the final chapter of our Guided Reading text - Private Peaceful.  We have thoroughly enjoyed this book!
