Another busy week this week!  

In maths, we have been learning about multiplying and dividing fractions.  We also tried to apply our learning to answering reasoning questions.

In English, we began our NARRATIVE unit of work.  We have focused on using dialogue within stories.  We had a really fun lesson where we were writing in a certain accent/dialect. We will incorporate this within our story writing later in this unit.

 

How do you draw electrical symbols and diagrams? - BBC Bitesize

In our Topic lesson this week, we learnt about how to draw scientific symbols for electrical components.  We then built our own circuits using the components.

We also had a visit from Kirsty, who works for Essex Fire and Police.  She reminded us of how to use online games and apps safely and what to do if we feel uncomfortable or upset with anything we see or hear online.
