1. Week beginning 2nd November

Our new phonics sounds are 

/l/ as in lion

/ll/ as in hill

/le/ as in bottle

/ss/ as in dress

 

This week we read Toy Story - we met lots of characters. Some of our favourites are Woody, Buzz, Mr Potato Head and Slinky Dog. 

We drew pictures of our favourite toys from home and labelled them. We also watched the Tapestry videos of our favourite toys that we sent in. We love seeing ourselves on the big screen and sharing our news from home. 

We received a letter from Woody explaining that the Toys were lost and can't find their way home. We were assigned the task of drawing and painting bright firework pictures to light the way home. We hope Woody and the other toys like our pictures. 

This week is Road Safety week - we learnt about how to cross the road safely.
