Through God’s love we learn together, grow together and achieve together.

What an exciting week! 873 Cartoon Menorah Illustrations & Clip Art - iStock

This week we have had lots of fun learning about the digestive system. We made our own stomachs out of plastic bags. We crunched up some crackers and added them to the bag, next we added orange juice and cola to represent the liquids, like acid, inside our stomachs. We then used our hands to squeeze the bag and its contents like the muscles in our stomach would to our food. We then examined the contents of our bag and saw the changes in the 'digested' food.

This week has has also been Judaism week in RE. We have had lots of fun learning about this religion. In particular, we have looked at the Torah, the Jewish holy book. We have designed our own covers for this special book, as well as making Bar and Bat Mitzvah cards. We have found  this topic fascinating and did not want to stop learning about it!

Vocabulary we have learnt this week: dozen, stable, fond, fluke, pottering, jostling, rustlers and flanking.
