Chaplaincy Team 2023-2024
Welcome to our new Chaplaincy team for the year.
We are looking forward to lots of exciting activities this term.
International Women's Day
To celebrate the women in our community, chaplaincy team have researched female saints and produced a lovely prayer card for every adult. They also delivered a gift of daffodils to remind them how truly special they are.
Chaplaincy team have made TEASPOON Prayers. T for Thank you, S for Sorry and P for Please. They are all starters to help pupils start a short prayer to God at any time of the day.
This advent Chaplaincy have made their own Christmas Cribs and shared the story of Christmas with Nursery.
Chaplaincy have used the dried lavender from our prayer garden to make some lavender bags for all classes to have on their prayer tables.
Lavender has a beautiful smell that helps people to relax and, of course, it reminds us of nature and how lucky we are to have such beautiful fragrant plants.
This means our prayer garden can keep providing us with beautiful things even through the winter months.
Chaplaincy has been busy this term. They have led the Rosary for the month of October and now they have written some beautiful prayers to celebrate our patron saint's day, St Luke.
