Week 3B WB 7th March 2022

Year 2 have really impressed me this week with their positive attitude to our class quizzes.  They have demonstrated that they have a growth mindset without a doubt! Everyone has made lots of progress in their mathematics, writing, reading and spelling.  I am super proud of everyone.

We have had lots of revision and I would like to say thank you to the parents who have been supporting the children with their home learning.  

Here are some extra things that you can do at home to practise our learning:

• You could practise reading and spelling all the Year 2 Common Exception Words

•  In maths, practise telling the time to the nearest 5 minutes on a digital and analogue clock.
• Practise counting in 2s, 5's and 10s.
• Use this skill to support you counting coins and notes of different values.
• Memorise your number bonds to 10, 20 and then 100.
